WOW! IS STARTING - SEPTEMBER 18TH

WOW! is our Wednesday night youth program for grades 1-12. We will have a sign-up night on Wednesday, September 11th, 5-7pm. First official WOW! meeting night is the following Wednesday, the 18th, 4:30-7pm. If you have children interested in joining our WOW! program, contact us at 362-4812 or 211fccville@gmail.com.

On September 8th, we will celebrate the contribution that WABASH College makes to our church and to our community.

A cookout of hamburgers and a “pitch in” meal will be held after worship. Bring a dish to share. Hamburgers will be provided. Wear red and invite a WABASH student!

DISCIPLES OF CHRIST GENERAL ASSEMBLY - JULY 20 - 24

Pastor Darla attended the General Assembly conference with her father, Rev. Dr. Howard Goodrich, in Des Moines, Iowa. Disciples from all over the world gathered for a few days of spiritual revival. Pictured above is Pastor Darla with her father and Week of Campassion Director, Vy Nguyen.


CANE RIDGE TRIP - JULY 18, 2019

A group of approximately 25 church members ventured to the Cane Ridge Meeting House in Paris, Kentucky and held a worship service on a Saturday afternoon. The Disciples of Christ churches trace their origins to Cane Ridge.



SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM

This is FCC’s 44th consecutive year to volunteer for the summer lunch program. Lunches were prepared for children in need in our community. FCC prepared and delivered lunches on July 8th and July 9th.


CONGRATULATIONS CAROLYN SNYDER

FCC member received the Governor and Cheri Daniels School Health Award at the Annual School Health Conference in Indianapolis on June 25th. Carolyn Snyder was recognized for her long career devoted to public health and school nursing, working to promote health of all Hoosier children. Carolyn also helped start Christian Nursing Service, now Montgomery County Free Clinic, 50 years ago! We are so lucky to have her as a health advocate for all Hoosiers and especially for Montgomery County!
